The current, in-process novel concerns the protagonist from my first, Falsework: A Valediction. That protagonist, Ariel, has been asked by a family friend in Hamburg to look into lurid accusations made against his son. The son, Erik, is a happening Bundesliga (professional soccer) midfielder. Any allegations made public will be broadcast in seconds by international media, threatening to close down Erik’s career. The accusations are sordid enough, but when remains, of the women involved in the alleged affair, are found, very dead on the steps of a 400-year-old bank—tied to the Hanseatic League…Ariel has history, malice, and reputations to cut through.

My second novel follows a teen aged male wanna-be rocker as he navigates his way through family dysfunction, school, sex, therapy, and coming of age in 1970s Oakville, Ontario. First chapter below.

My first novel, Falsework: A Valediction, noted above, follows a family of adult children, born in France and raised in Ontario, as they navigate the fall out of the discovery of their deceased father’s remains in an ancient wine cellar in Burgundy.
